Well, it’s been quite a while since I last made a post! With chaos happening all around us, there’s been one universal light that has helped countless people weather the storm of quarantine. If you’re like me, that light has come in the form of the adorable Animal Crossing New Horizons!
Now, one of the best things about this game, in my opinion, apart from the fantastically addictive gameplay, is the velvet smooth vocal stylings of one K.K. Slider.
And after heading over to YouTube, I learnt that K.K. Slider has an entire section and fan club dedicated to him, with some videos showcasing his expert skills at covering some amazing bops.
So, today on our trip down the Otaku Rabbit Hole, we’re just taking it easy with 5 of our favourite tracks sung by K.K. Slider. Just a heads up, this list does include official songs from Animal Crossing New Horizons, but also a few covers created by the talented Clay Kramer that I so desperately WISH were official!

If it was good enough for Shrek, it’s good enough for K.K. Slider! Seriously, though, it’s a pretty great cover!
3. Don’t Stop Me Now (Queen)
A classic reimagined for a new generation! K.K. Slider’s unique vocals certainly add something special to this absolute bop!
2. Thank You, Next (Ariana Grande)
Dare I say it’s better than the original? Probably not, but Ariana needs to watch her back. There’s a new girl in town!!
1. Stale Cupcakes (Animal Crossing New Horizons)
